This is what “giving up” looked like. I have rocked, nursed, sang, hum, changed her… used white noise, lullaby, and everything in between and nothing works. This kid remained awake and fussy. Maybe teething. Maybe 4 months regression. Who knows. But after a couple hours I gave up. I turned on tv and she finally quiet and happy to watch ABC news. And to think I still have a few years of these sleepless nights …
